TESTIMONIALS
Teachers Rave About Our Clean Energy Events
“I learned a lot and was able to make a full unit plan to implement this year."
I don’t remember the last time I had so much fun at a PD and felt like a student again. Thank you for engaging educators from many different areas, levels, backgrounds, experiences, and districts in New York.
I can tell that for you, your team, and your partners at NYSERDA #representationmatters.
I really appreciated the opportunity to participate in the Clean Energy Institute. It has been a real springboard to my climate justice advocacy, and I have been encouraging my colleagues to consider attending a future session.
After attending the Institute, your teaching
will be improved because you will:
ONE:
Be able to clearly explain NYS clean energy goals to diverse audiences.
Learn about energy grids, power generation & transmission, and environmental justice.
TWO:
Have a full resource list of lessons and activities you are ready to implement that are connected to your grade and subject-specific learning standards.
THREE:
Know about unique career opportunities from hearing professionals in the field speak and be able to share those with students in the clean energy industry.
